About the Night Shift League
The Night Shift League (NSL) is an established sim racing team league founded in 2018 during the Gran Turismo Sport era. Since then, NSL has stood for exciting, strategic and fair virtual motorsport competition on PlayStation.

2018
The beginning
February 2018
Deekay founds NSR – NIGHTSHIFT RACERS. Racing starts with standard BoP. Deekay, Prehna and Kepano lead the team.

2019
New chapter. Same spirit.
After Season 1
NSR becomes NSL. A custom BoP brings more power and less weight. Mani joins the leadership team, followed by Goddy from Season 3.

New tracks. Same passion.
4 March 2022
Gran Turismo 7 arrives. The switch from Gran Turismo Sport brings challenges – the first GT7 season is postponed.

A stronger community

Psycho and NLR_eiei take over league management after Deekay and Mani. They establish LITE with Gr.4 cars.

JoeDrevic, PapaJoe, Topchoice, Mantachris and it_is_mac_ take over league management. A return to standard BoP.

The Team Concept
The team concept is at the heart of the league: each team enters a lobby with two drivers at the same time and fights together for points and positions. Each team may register up to 8 drivers, while 2 drivers must race in every event.
Fleet Strategy
Before each season, every team selects two cars. Each selected car must be used by the drivers at least four times during the season. That creates a major strategic factor and keeps the championship varied.
Late Hours
The name Night Shift League says it all: races are deliberately held late in the evening. Race days are Friday and Saturday nights, with starts at 20:45 and 22:15 depending on class.
10 Races per Season
A season consists of 10 races. The regular race distance is 60 minutes. Race 5 is traditionally a special event, and the grand finale pushes teams to the limit in a 90-minute race.
Superpole Mode
Pure tension: every driver gets exactly one timed lap in qualifying to set their starting position. Full focus, absolute precision and zero tolerance for mistakes decide between top and flop.
Free Tyre Choice
More tactical freedom: NSL deliberately avoids a mandatory tyre compound. Every team can shape its tyre strategy freely and act individually in the race.
